Human Resources Administrative Assistant / Full Time - Great Opportunity!
The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships' Employment Office is searching for a Human Resources Administrative Assistant. The position manages and performs a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks that requires initiative, independence, and confidentiality in more than one area of office management and employee/customer relations. Summary Description: Under general supervision, Human Resources Administrative Assistant performs a variety of complex technical and administrative duties relating to personnel functions and programs including; provides information and assistance to internal and external customers regarding activities, processes, policies, and procedures; prepares various correspondence and Memorandums; coordinates activities related to area of assignment; and performs a variety of tasks requiring specialized knowledge related to area of assignment. This is an on-site position from the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, weekdays.
Human Resources Administrative Assistant Duties:
Provide customer service, both in-person and by telephone or email; screen and direct telephone calls; take and relay messages; answer questions from employees and the general public regarding human resources, any customer relations issues, rules, and regulations; and other requests for information.
Manage the Human Resources email inbox and ensure all requests are distributed to the appropriate team member and/or management.
Receive, review and electronically file all internal workers comp. and liability claim packets. Request and track missing information.
Manage and track monthly Manager and Employee trainings. Run reports from HRIS system to determine who needs what training and then coordinate monthly trainings and reserve training rooms; notify employees and managers of the events.
Manage Tenure Recognition Program.
Assist with preparing for Annual Benefit Open Enrollments.
Order office supplies and track inventory of supplies and drug screening kits.
Prepare accurate, high-quality correspondence, reports, memos, forms, presentations, and other needed materials.
Assist HR Team and HR Director with other duties as needed.
Human Resources Administrative Assistant Qualifications:
Exceptional grammar and organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely; both verbally and in writing
Sound judgment and reasoning skills
Ability to create relationship across the organization
Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook skills
High School Diploma required; college degree a plus
Minimum 2 years of increasingly responsible technical or administrative experience in personnel administration activities or comparable position.
