We are seeking an energetic and motivated Auto Parts Director today!

This key new role will be responsible for servicing Parts Accounts from multiple franchises and multiple Hertrich Dealerships with timeliness from order to delivery, with profitability and inventory asset controls. You will also help to further grow our Wholesale Parts business through continuing to build relationships and reputation on the Delmarva Peninsula with the Hertrich Family best business practices.

Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships has an exciting New Career Opportunity available to add A World Class Auto Parts Director to our Team.

The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships represents 19 different franchises, 22 stores and 9 auto body shops. In this new role, the Automotive Parts Director will be responsible for servicing auto parts accounts from multiple franchises and dealerships. Key responsibilities are to ensure auto parts delivery and department profitability. You will play an integral role in growing our wholesale auto parts business by building new relationships and following Hertrich Family best business practices.

Automotive Parts Director Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of progressive of auto dealership or collision parts management experience is required


• Inventory management and logistics background strongly preferred


• Proven ability to lead and manage a team


• Must have proficient computer skills in MS software, DealerTrack experience is a plus


• Must be available to work a flexible schedule that will include some evenings and Saturdays


• Must have a valid driver's license and few to no points on driving record


• High School Diploma or GED required

Automotive Parts Director Duties

• Managing assets and inventory controls for multiple auto wholesale parts operations with knowledge of returns, restocking, discount applications and real time Inventory evaluations.


• Manage monthly and quarterly reporting, wholesale cores, establish wholesale accounts and vendors for each auto parts franchise.


• Manage logistics through utilization of vehicles, deliveries and routes.


• Manage profit and loss for auto wholesale parts department.


• Other duties as directed
